Elegant collection and presentation

I was hooked to Pratha page on FB while looking for Diwali purchase , such an elegant collection and presentation which makes them unique as a brand.

I ordered and received my saree in Canada in a very reasonable time and got a praise from my friends for classic saree purchase.

They were exquisite, vibrant and oh so grand!

Keeping up with the current new-gen trend, I was supposed to land in India for my wedding 10 days before the D-day. I was totally dependent on my mom for all my wedding shopping, and I had crossed all my fingers that she would pick some new designer sarees that I'd seen my friends wear at their weddings. My heart sank when she started the phone conversation with 'Kanjeevaram' and 'Gadhwal', but when she added that they were from "Kavita's new venture, Pratha" my heart soared in hope again! And rightfully so.. they were exquisite, vibrant and oh so grand! Mom went on and on (and on!) about the exceptional and enthusiastic customer service at Pratha, the delicate handling of the sarees, the alluring collection, and of course Kavita's keen eye for colors and combinations, patterns and varieties, her understanding of the fabric, and her warm recommendations to everyone. There was absolutely no doubt in either of our minds then, where my wedding collection was coming from. The gold wedding saree made me feel so beautiful, and my reception saree was met with praises all evening (I no longer had to pretend to blush, hah!) My mom looked stunning in a unique green Gadhwal, which even I couldn't take my eyes off! Just waiting for when I could steal it for a special occasion!
Even today, a year after the wedding, our friends and relatives still talk about the sarees my mom and I wore, and every time I just thank Kavita for making me a bride on my wedding day! You're a beautiful person, inside and outside, and it reflects in your work, Kavita! Lots of love.

Thrilled to see a huge variety of sarees

I was overjoyed at the launch of Pratha not only because it was one my closest friend's new venture but for I knew this was one place I could count on for a unique selection of sarees in Pune! My love for sarees took me to the studio even when I had no occasion to shop for. I was thrilled to see a huge variety of sarees ranging from kanjivaram, gadhwal, raw silk, Irkal, paithani etc. in all possible colors and suited for all occasions, age groups and moods! The staff at Pratha was warm, super receptive to my questions and encouraged me to take a good look at the entire collection before making a decision. Kavita being there at the studio only made things better because now I had a friend who knew exactly what looked good on me! The display of sarees was nothing like a regular shop and made me feel I was choosing from a unique selection of sarees specially handpicked for me. I instantly fell for the gadhwal and raw silk sarees! Needless to say, I went back home with bags full of sarees and a heart full of joy! Kavita, having worked with thousands of brides over the last few years has developed a great taste and understanding of Indian ethnic wear and is a true connoisseur of sarees! When I wore this raw silk creation for a wedding recently, it surely turned a few heads! Can't wait for my next bunch of Pratha sarees! :)

Personal touch and professional service by 'Pratha'

When I realized that I will have a very short time in India to attend my Neice's wedding, and no time to shop for saree to wear at wedding at all, I started for looking online options. I was following Pratha Facebook page for a while, and had become fan of very selective, beautiful sarees. When I contacted Kavita for pricing of saree's I liked, her response was very timely, and she sent pictures of more beautiful sarees. She also helped to narrow down choice. It was a very nice combination of personal touch and professional service by 'Pratha'. Everyone loved the beautiful blue and green Ikat I wore at wedding. Same saree, when I wore at Marathi Association of Minnesota Diwali function,
